Inspiration Overload
I've been so busy with my psychology class, that I've had to work on my artwork in the wee hours of the night. But upon finishing, I'm usually too tired to post it. LOL! I have been working on my weekly challenges, I swear! I've got lots to share tonight. My last two ADSR LO's and my weekly Art Journal Caravan challenge. As ADSR comes to a close, I have to say, I'm going to miss the inspiration, but not the extra work I gave myself. :)
I look forward to lots more art journaling and designing in the near future. You ladies are in for a treat very soon. I have a new kit that so fun and fabulous, ready to be released. Stay tuned for that, but in the mean time, enjoy some of my eye candy.

Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards, or 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (6cm X 9cm), small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets. The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland. Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc). The cards are usually traded or exchanged rather than sold.
The second version of my "mixed bag" ATC series full of yummy ephemera goodies. Included in this bag are 7 backgrounds and 12 elements. Be inspired and create with abandon. There are NO RULES with creating with ATC's. Inspire yourself!

everyday inspiration
The latest ADSR challenge was for both Crystal and I to do a LO together. Easier said than done, especially since we use different programs. But, we made it work and it's done!

The Best Day
Today was the best day I've had in so long. I can't even believe how beautiful it was outside. Spring is coming! It was so warm, Tarrah and I hung out on the porch, she went and dived into the mud and left over snow. I even had the energy to hop on my Gazelle and get a workout in. Woot! For the first time in months, I feel like everything is gonna be more than alright. I swear, the weather really does something to me. I'm so happy!

Art Journal | the Barnum effect
What is the Barnum effect? As some of you may know, I'm currently taking a psychology course this term and when the challenge came up for the "circus of life" I immediately thought of this because of it's origin. The Barnum effect as defined by Wikipedia is:
The observation that individuals will give high accuracy ratings to descriptions of their personality that supposedly are tailored specifically for them, but are in fact vague and general enough to apply to a wide range of people.
So going with that theme, I collected my horoscope for today, and of course it made sense to my life right now, but how about yours? I bet you could identify with something in it also, even if you're not a Gemini like myself. My horoscope read like this:
Allow your eager and restless nature to express itself in ways other than through the spoken word,Gemini . Show someone that you care through your gentle touch or a big bear hug. Hold on a little bit more tightly than you might normally. There’s an unspoken understanding that comes when you communicate through nothing but pure silence. Work on developing this kind of connection with those closest to you.
Something to think about...

{journaling}It’s amazing how fast life passes you by. You grow up thinking, someday, I’m going to be married to a wonderful man, have wonderful children and we’re going to live together in a beautiful house. But next thing you know, your passing 30 and your life is nothing like you imagined. Your not married, you have two kids, but they are by different fathers who you don’t speak to. You don’t have a house at all, in fact you rent a trailer, one of the many homes your children have gotten to know through the years. Life is hard work. You can’t expect to just get what you dream without working. Well I’ve worked very hard to get where I am. I have my own place, my bills are paid, and I’m working hard to live my dream. The last piece of the dream, my prince charming, has come into my life, only to be taken away from me, as the past reared it’s ugly head. I have faith that things will work out and someday, we’ll be together again, ready to live that dream together.
